DEOSAI Guided Tour:

After breakfast 4×4 transport will take you to Sadpara lake and then toward Deosai top, Pause for a tea/coffee break at top for 30 minutes. Spend 2-3 hours exploring other key areas in Deosai, such as Bara Pani (a picturesque river crossing), wildlife viewing (e.g., Himalayan brown bears, marmots), and enjoying short hikes. Make sure not to stray too far, as the return journey will take time. where you can take a tea break and start journey to explore wilderness of Deosai national park. After lunch time you will start journey back to Skardu.

KACHURA:

Drive for approximately 30 minutes to Shangrila Resort, a picturesque location known for its serene artificial lake and iconic red cottages.
Then drive for 15-20 minutes from Shangri-La Resort to Upper Kachura Lake (approx. 2.5 km). Take a short hike (if needed) to reach the lake.
Enjoy boating in the clear, turquoise waters. Walk around the lake to admire its natural beauty and take photos. spending aprox. 2 hours drive for 45 minutes to 1 hour to reach Soq Valley, known for its lush greenery, streams, and peaceful environment. Explore the valley on foot and take in the serene surroundings. Relax by the riverside or enjoy short hikes in the area. Around 4pm begin the return trip, taking breaks at scenic spots along the way.

SHIGAR

The drive to Shigar is approximately 45-60 minutes (32 km), after breakfast start journey from Skardu, Enjoy the scenic drive along the Shigar River, passing small villages and lush green fields. At Shigar explore the beautifully restored 17th-century fort, which now functions as a luxury heritage hotel and museum. Take a short stroll through the nearby Shigar village to experience traditional Balti life. Visit the mosque and local handicraft shops for souvenirs. Take your time returning and stop for any photo opportunities along the way. Explore the surreal SARFARANGA COLD DESERT, known for its golden dunes framed by snow-capped peaks. Spend about 1–1.5 hours walking or photographing the unique landscape. You can also enjoy adventure activities like desert jeep safari and Paragliding (if available) or take a walk barefoot on the cool sand, enjoying the serenity and views of the surrounding peaks.. In clear weather enjoy the sunset.

KHARMANG

Distance: ~80 km one way (2–3 hours by road)

After breakfast journey start from Skardu follow the scenic route through Khaplu Road, passing picturesque villages, fields, and views of the Indus River. Mid-Morning arrive at Manthoka waterfall Enjoy the cascading 180-foot-high waterfall. Relax by the water or dip your feet into the cool stream. Explore nearby trails for better views of the waterfall and surrounding areas. Start the return journey to Skardu at 3:30 pm. Stop at scenic spots along the way for photos or tea at a local dhaba (roadside café).

KHAPLU

Distance: ~130 km one way (3.5 hours by road)

Journey will start after breakfast follow the scenic road alongside the Shyok River. Enjoy breathtaking views of valleys, mountains, and traditional Balti villages along the way. Explore the Khaplu Palace (Yabgo Khar), a 19th-century royal residence now restored as a heritage hotel and museum. Enjoy the serene gardens and stunning views of the surrounding valley. Explore the 700-year-old Chaqchan Mosque, one of the oldest mosques in Baltistan.
Admire its intricate wooden architecture and peaceful surroundings. Capture the scenic beauty of Khaplu, with the backdrop of the Karakoram mountains. At 3:30 pm begin your return journey to Skardu. Stop at scenic viewpoints or small tea shops for refreshments.
